Settings for Outlook

Outlook Settings

Instructions to make Outlook your mail client:

1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
2. Select Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.
3. Select the e-mail server used for your account, and then click Next.
4. In the appropriate boxes, type in your username and your password. For the incoming mail server, type pop.cs.net. For the outgoing mail server, type smtp.cs.net. All server and address entries are typed in lowercase letters.
5. You have the option of having Outlook remember your password by typing it in the password box and selecting the Remember password check box. While this means that you won't have to type in your password each time you access the account, it also means that the account is vulnerable to anyone who has access to your computer.
6. If you want to configure additional settings, such as how you want your computer to connect to your e-mail server, click More Settings. Otherwise, click Next.
7. Click Finish.

Once you have finished adding the information, you can go into Outlook and check your mail.
